The Hoedown is a music jam open to all levels of musicians and music lovers. The theater seats are ideal for the audience to sit and enjoy some good old time country\, bluegrass\, and gospel songs you are sure to know and enjoy. We invite all in the area to come enjoy this always entertaining event. Admission is free with a free will donation accepted. All proceeds are given to the Windsor Theatre. Algona is  part of a traveling league with Emmetsburg\, Bancroft\, Ruthven\, Whittemore\, West Bend\, Pocahontas and Graettinger. Volunteer coaches are used at all age levels.  Practices will be begin in Late April/ early may and games begin mid to late may and continue through the end of June.  The cost is $30 per player. Last day to sign up in April 3rd.
