Garner Man Killed in Friday Crash

–A Hancock County man was killed in a 1-vehicle accident early Friday morning just west of Garner.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 25-year-old Noah M. Clites of Garner was southbound on Rake Avenue, about 2 miles west of Garner, around 5:15 Friday morning.

The accident report states that Clites lost control 2003 Ford F350 truck he was driving and entered the ditch, where the vehicle ended up rolling. Clites was partially ejected from the truck and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and the Garner Police Department. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
