NE Iowa Man Taken Into Custody Near Fenton

–A Northeast Iowa man wanted by the US Marshall’s Service was arrested in rural Palo Alto County Thursday, just west of Fenton. 

According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were called to an address along County Road B19, about four miles west of Fenton, just after 6:40 PM Thursday. After conducting a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 42-year-old Eric Allen Young on an active warrant from the United States Marshall’s Service.  

Young was wanted on a charge of Distribution of a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death. He was transported to the Chickasaw County Jail in New Hampton where he will await extradition to the custody of the United States Marshall Service. 

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office, Fenton Ambulance Service and the Palo Alto County Ambulance Service.
