–A joint investigation by the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Department and the Algona Police Department resulted in the execution of a search warrant and a pair of arrests Monday afternoon.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Law Enforcement executed the warrant at 115 E. Grove Street in Algona, where they seized illegal drugs, items known to be associated with the selling and distribution of methamphetamine, and cash.
As a result of the search, the officers arrested 42-year-old Brent Terry Weisbrod of Lone Rock and 36-year-old Jessica Lynn Subject of Algona. Both are facing charges of:
–Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (Class B Felony)
–Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp (Class D Felony)
–Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Both Weisbrod and Subject were booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
The Iowa State Patrol assisted in the execution of the search warrant.
