–The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors approved the maximum property tax levy for the upcoming fiscal year during their meeting this week. County Auditor Tammy Eden went over some of the figures before the start of a public hearing that was held prior to the vote.
Eden also went through the numbers in a couple more categories prior to the hearing.
Eden highlighted what the budget increases will be covering during the next fiscal year.
Nobody spoke about the maximum levy during the public hearing, and the supervisors approved it unanimously.
