–A Bode man was taken into custody earlier this week in Palo Alto County on charges dating back to December of 2022 out of Clay County.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies arrested 39-year-old Kevin Charles Hinkel of Bode just before 5:30 PM Monday. Online court records show an arrest warrant was issued for Hinkel back in January in Clay County on charges of 2nd Degree Theft, a Class D Felony.
Hinkel is facing the theft charge following an alleged incident on December 8th of last year.
Hinkel was transported to the custody of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. Court records show he is due to have a preliminary hearing in Clay County District Court on May 8th.
