Wesley Woman is April “1440” Recipient

–A Wesley woman is the latest recipient of the “1440 Citizen of the Month” award.

Kossuth County Sheriff Roger Fisher has announced Mandie Studer is the “1440” award winner for the month of April. Studer works at the Post Office in Wesley, while also volunteering her time all over the county and state.

Studer operates a “Pay It Forward” non-profit company where she coordinates and donates to local charities that help people in need. She’s active in local Son’s of the American Legion events, serves as President of the Algona VIP Music Boosters, and is heavily involved with the Algona Booster Club.

Studer assists with local boy scout activities, does volunteer work with the VA Hospital in Des Moines, organizes Army National Guard “Welcome Home Baskets, is involved with the local Crisis Center and the Cancer Centers in Fort Dodge and Mason City.
