–The Kossuth Regional Health Center Auxiliary will be using their annual CARES Fundraiser to benefit the Pediatric Therapy program, which helps children improve function and promote development to become more independent. Auxiliary President Susan Doster tells KLGA News they are once again teaming up with the Algona Fareway store to conduct their fundraising effort.
Doster says this fundraiser used to be conducted on what they called “Tag Day”.
The occupational therapy team at KRHC offers Pediatric Therapy services, including individual sessions with licensed therapists to help children establish a strong foundation for future learning. The program is designed for children from infancy to age 18 who have special healthcare needs or movement difficulties. The program is beneficial to any child experiencing delays of varying degrees in all domains of development. The Auxiliary CARES Fundraiser will run through May 14th, where you can round your purchase up to the next dollar at the Algona Fareway Store.
