–Silent Night in Algona took home some honors from Iowa Motion Picture Association during their annual awards ceremony on Saturday. Donna Kitzinger assisted with the production of the film while they were shooting here in Kossuth County, and she tells KLGA News one of the producers asked if she would be willing to attend the awards ceremony.

The film received an Award of Achievement from the IMPA, in the Live-Action Entertainment Long-Form category. Kitzinger says receiving the award was a pleasant surprise.

Silent Night in Algona premiered in December of 2022, and producers believe it will be available for home viewing in either late summer or early fall.
