–The Iowa Lakes Community College Board of Trustees approved the final training agreements and the dollar amount for bonds issued through the Industrial New Jobs Training Program during their meeting earlier this month. Jolene Rogers serves as the Executive Director of Community and Business Relations for Iowa Lakes, and she spoke with KLGA News about the training program.

Rogers says the money helps these companies as they try and train these new employees they plan on hiring.
The board approved the issuance of around 2-million dollars in bonds for this year’s training program, which includes 7 employers in the 5-county area.
