–The Algona School Board voted to keep school fees the same for the upcoming school year during their meeting on Monday evening. Superintendent Joe Carter addressed the board and says there is no reason to raise any fees at this time.
Carter says there is one fee that could change, because it’s not controlled by the district.
Students in grades K-12 will pay a $55 registration fee. Unless otherwise directed by the Federal Government, lunch will cost students in grades K-4 $2.70 a day and student in grades 5-8 will pay $2.75, and grades 9-12 will pay $2.85. The cost for Activity Tickets and Music Instruments and Uniforms will all remain the same.
