–Area residents will soon be seeing a familiar face treating patients at Kossuth Regional Health Center.

KRHC announced this week that Dr. Jeff Doolittle will be returning to the Algona facility later this month, after previously treating patients there from 2007 to 2015.

Doolittle, who is a board-certified family medicine physician, will care for patients in the clinic and will serve as Chief Medical Officer upon his return.

Doolittle left KRHC in 2015 to take a position teaching medical students at a family medicine residency in Wichita, Kansas. He held that position until January of 2022, when he returned to northern Iowa, taking a position at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City where he served as a Family Medical Physician and as Executive Medical Director.

Dr. Doolittle will begin seeing patients at KRHC in late August and is now accepting patients into his schedule. To schedule an appointment, patients can call the clinic at 515-295-7714, and for more information they can go online at www.krhc.com.
