The 123rd National Hobo Convention in Britt gets underway this week with many events for folks to enjoy. Long time attendee and former queen of the hobos, Connecticut Shorty spoke with KLGA News about the event.
Shorty’s involvement with the convention dates back many years, her first year included paying tribute to her dad.
Connecticut Shorty says the convention is open for all to attend.
Events kick off this week, starting Wednesday with a Dog Parade, Friday will include the Hobo Memorial Service and Live Music, Saturday will feature the toilet bowl races and more live music, and it all concludes Sunday with the Classic Car Show.
