–Suidae Health and Production held an open house Thursday at their newest hog facility, located southwest of Burt. Dr. Amanda Reever is one of the Veterinarians at Suidae, and she tells KLGA News the new Suidae Innovation Center will allow them to conduct advanced research here in Kossuth County.
Reever says this facility has been in the works for quite some time now.
Reever discussed the design of the new building.
She says Suidae studied several commercial hog facilities while designing the new building.
Reever says the open house was a tremendous success.
Reever says they are finishing up some minute details with regards to how the facility will be managed, but they hope to have hogs in the building within the next month.
