–The effort to build a new warehouse for the Moving Veterans Forward organization in Algona received a nice boost from area residents who purchased items from the Sweets and Treats fundraiser Monday. Moving Veterans Forward co-founder John Emswiler spoke with KLGA News following the event, which he termed a huge success.
Emswiler says the new facility will not only house the donations they receive to assist veterans as they transition to civilian life, but it will have some added value for area organizations as well.
