–Algona High School crowned Homecoming Royalty this afternoon, as part of a pep rally that had to moved inside. AHS Junior Chance Studer announced this year’s Homecoming King.
Fellow Junior Laney Vanteicher announced this year’s Queen.
Daniel Kemna is the son of Nicole Fritz-Kemna, and Tom and Sara Kemna. Ashley Cantu is the daughter of Ray Cantu, as well as Samantha and Mike Frideres. The annual Homecoming parade had to be cancelled because of the rain, so Daniel and Ashley did not get a chance to ride through town following the coronation. The Bulldogs host Charles City tonight at 7PM, which you can hear on Hometown Radio KLGA 92.7 FM and on the AHS Broadcasting YouTube Channel.
