–The Algona School Board received an update on the new Fieldhouse during their meeting this week, as the project is nearly ready to be sent out for bids. Austin Pehl with Atura Architecture spoke to the board, and he says the final plans are nearly complete.
Pehl says they will give contractors about four weeks to get their bids submitted for the project.
Pehl was asked how many bids similar projects have been receiving this year.
If bids come in as expected, construction on the Fieldhouse project would begin this spring, with completion anticipated by the fall of 2025.
