–Crowds gathered at the Columbia Hall in Algona Sunday to participate in a fundraising walk and soup supper to benefit the family of Police Officer Kevin Cram. Organizer Shara Long spoke with KLGA News following the “Cram the Columbia Hall” event, which she labeled a huge success.

The event featured a 10-block walk in the neighborhoods around the Columbia Hall, and Long says it turned out to be a beautiful day to be outside.

Long says there was some friendly competition amongst those who participated in the soup supper.

A customized Snap-On Toolbox was the big draw on the auction, fetching a winning bid of $7,500. All of the funds raised from the walk, soup supper and auction are going to the Cram family.
