Halloween Hike Saturday Night at Smith Lake

–Kossuth County Conservation will host their annual Halloween Hike Saturday night at the Water’s Edge Nature Center.

This year’s theme is “Tales from the Underground”, and participants will be entertained with nature skits as they travel along the trail in small groups. Apple Cider and popcorn will be provided inside the nature center for those waiting to head out or once they complete the hike.

Groups will head out every 5-10 minutes, beginning at 7PM and going until 8:30PM. The family friendly event is free and open to the public, as those who plan on attending are encouraged to bring a flashlight.
