–Efforts to find new organizers for the Community Thanksgiving meal in Algona have come up short, and the event will not be taking place this year. Rodney Davis spoke with KLGA News last month, hoping to find a new group of leaders to take over the event that had provided thousands of free Thanksgiving meals over the years.
Davis says he did hear from some people who may be able to get the event back up and running in the future.
