–The holiday season in Algona will seem a little brighter with more new decorative lights displayed across town. Algona Municipal Utilities Marketing Director Bob Jennings tells KLGA News that the news lights were badly needed.
Along with the new lights, Jennings says there is a new display next to the Law Enforcement Center downtown.
Jennings says they hope to add more lights to the collection over the next few years.
AMU staff will have some of the new lights and old lights on display Monday evening during the Live Greeting Card Windows event in downtown Algona, so residents can truly spot the difference.
