An investigation is underway in Eagle Grove after a shooting incident early Saturday morning left one man dead.
According to the Eagle Grove Police Department, Officers received a 911 call just after 2:30 AM Saturday reporting a shooting incident in the 100 block of South Lucas Avenue, near the city’s downtown area. The incident resulted in the death of one male individual, who has not been identified as of yet.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has been contacted to assist local authorities.
Law Enforcement officials have not released any further information but have stated there is no ongoing threat to the public.
