–Students from around the area will get the chance to speak with college representatives from all over the Midwest during an event at Algona High School next week. AHS Guidance Counselor Noel McLaughlin tells KLGA News that the annual college fair will be held on Wednesday March 6th.
McLaughlin says advances in technology have made it pretty simple for the students to get information from schools they may be interested in attending.
McLaughlin says the college fair is really aimed at students in the Junior class.
McLaughlin says they will have representatives from all different types of schools for the students to interact with inside the AHS gym.
The College Fair will be held from 1:30-3 PM on Wednesday, March 6th inside the AHS gymnasium. Parents are also invited to attend the college fair, as they can check in at the AHS office and will be allowed to attend the fair and check out schools with their student.
