–Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley believes it is unlikely that a full five-year Farm Bill will gain approval this year. Last year Congress agreed to a one-year extension of the Farm Bill that passed in 2018, and during an interview with KLGA News, Grassley says he expects more of the same this year.
Grassley says there are several things that need to be addressed with this new legislation.
Grassley says trying to gain support from non ag oriented states becomes even tougher during an election year.
