–A traffic stop early Monday morning resulted in the arrest of two Burt residents on multiple drug related charges.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted the traffic stop in the Burt area just before 1 AM Monday, April 15th. Following a brief investigation, Deputies arrested 43-year-old Gerald Louis Pesicka on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-1st offense (Methamphetamine and Marijuana), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Permitting an Unauthorized Person to Drive.
Deputies also arrested 27-year-old Diamond Lynn James on charges of Driving while Barred and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both Pesicka and James were booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. Online court records show Pesicka is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on May 6th in Kossuth County District Court. James is scheduled to have further proceedings on November 1st.
