–The Kossuth County Farmer’s Market will open for the season on Saturday morning at the corners of Dodge and Nebraska Streets in downtown Algona. Market spokesperson Joanne Roepke Bode says the vendors are ready to get things going in 2024.
Roepke Bode says the rainy weather this spring may limit some of the items you might normally see at the market this time of year.
While the Saturday market opens this week, the Wednesday edition of the Farmer’s Market won’t get up and running until July 3rd.
The Saturday market runs June 1st through October 12th, from 9-11 AM each day. The Wednesday market begins on July 3rd and runs through September 4th, from 3-5 PM. For more information, you can check out the Kossuth County Farmer’s Market on Facebook.
