–Congressman Randy Feenstra made a stop in Algona on Friday, speaking to workers at Pharmacists Mutual and taking questions for nearly an hour. Following his visit, Feenstra spoke with KLGA News about his efforts to assist Iowans across the 4th District who have been dealing with extreme weather events this year.
Feenstra, who is seeking a 3rd term in the US House of Representatives in November, says these disasters make it more important that they complete another 5-year farm bill this year.
The Republican from Hull says they will be working through the fall to pass the farm bill.
Feenstra was joined by State Representative Henry Stone and State Senator Dave Rowley during his stop in Kossuth County.
