–Leaders of the Kossuth County Food Pantry are trying to find a new director to take over the weekly operations of the facility that assists area residents in need. Dave Wieland serves as the Director of Operations for the Divine Mercy Parish of North Central Iowa and is leading the search for a new director.
This is a volunteer position that takes about 15-20 hours of time each week.
Wieland says the director works with food suppliers from across the state to help keep the pantry stocked, along with local service organizations and individuals who offer their assistance throughout the year.
