–If you’re looking for a unique gift this holiday season that will help benefit groups that assist area residents, the Chips Off the Old Block are currently hosting their annual fundraising auction. Group spokesman Ron Matz tells KLGA News all of the items can be viewed now, and bids are currently being taken.
All of the proceeds raised from the auction are distributed to various agencies that provide assistance to those in need across the area.
Matz says they have a lot of great, handcrafted items that you can view and bid on at the Algona Public Library.
Bids will be accepted until 12 PM on Sunday, December 21st, at which time the winning bidder can collect their item.
