–Administrators in the Algona Community School District are looking at ways to balance out increased insurance costs for the upcoming year. Superintendent Joe Carter addressed the school board during their meeting this week and discussed their conversations with the district’s insurance provider.
Carter says they have a group in place that will work through several options for employees to choose.
The district will continue to set budget items for the coming year before their first budget hearing which will be held on March 24th.
