–Iowa Lakes Community College will host an open house next week at their newly remodeled Surgical Technology Lab on the Spencer Campus. Tammy Shimon serves as Dean of Health Sciences for Iowa Lakes, and she tells KLGA News they will allow the public to get an inside look at their program on March 19th.
A CHLOE device is a full-body surgical simulator that offers students a realistic and immersive training experience that prepares them for the demands of modern operating rooms. Shimon says the open house is perfect for prospective students who may want to get a look at the Surgical Technology program.
The open house will be held from 2-4 PM on March 19th in suite B1 of the Spencer Campus of Iowa Lakes.
