Iowa Lottery CEO Matt Strawn says sales are up slightly through the third quarter of the fiscal year.
During an update to the Lottery Board, he says there are several positives.
Strawn says sales are mixed overall with national lotto game sales continuing to struggle.
Strawn says the lotto games will have a hard time catching up to last year’s sales in the final quarter of the fiscal year.
Strawn says a couple of national polls show consumer confidence is down, and the Lottery faces some “headwinds” in the last quarter. But he expects to finish the fiscal year at or slightly ahead of their budget projections.
