–The Kossuth County Dementia Care Board will host an educational forum Monday evening at the Algona Senior Center. Board spokesperson Kris Schlievert tells KLGA News that they have a panel of speakers that will cover a variety of useful topics for area residents who may be caring for someone who suffers from dementia.
Kossuth Dementia Care hosted a similar forum two years ago, and Schlievert says they feel now is a good time to have one again.
A free meal will be offered before the panel discussions start Monday evening.
The free meal will be served at 5:15 PM with the forum set to begin around 6 PM. Schlievert says they expect the presentations to last a little over an hour, and there will be time for questions at the end from those in attendance.
