–A Rutland woman is facing up to 30-years in prison after pleading guilty this week in federal court to a charge of sexually exploiting a child.
According to the US Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, 32-year-old Samantha Meyer-Davis entered the guilty plea at the United States Federal Courthouse in Sioux City Wednesday.
At the plea hearing, Meyer-Davis admitted that from May of 2022 through November of 2023, she was engaged in sexually exploiting a student while she was working at the Humboldt Middle School.
