–The North Central Iowa Chapter of Moving Veteran’s Forward is teaming up with the Algona Family YMCA for a fun event on Thursday that will help area veterans connect with younger generations. Moving Veterans Forward Director John Emswiler says they wanted to have an event that was fun for all involved.
The event is being held at the Wildhaven Campus Thursday beginning at 9AM and it’s open to all area veterans.
Emswiler says any area veteran can just stop out to Wildhaven Thursday morning.
The Wildhaven campus is located on the southwest edge of Algona near the intersection of Smith Street and Tietz Street. Any area veteran that would like more information can contact John Emswiler by calling 712-269-9700.
