–If you need something for dinner on Tuesday night, a fundraising meal to benefit the Kossuth County CARE Team is being held at the First Congregational Church in Algona. Mick Schlievert is helping to organize the event, and he tells KLGA News they are hoping for a good turnout to support an organization that helps area residents in need.
The meal will feature Pork Loin, sides, and dessert for a free will donation, and you can stay and eat or take it home. Schlievert says the CARE Team can always use the support.
Schlievert says the meal can truly help the CARE Team thanks to several area businesses that help cover the costs.
The meal is being served from 4:30-7 PM Tuesday in the First Congregational Church Fellowship Hall, with both dine-in or take-out options available. If you can’t make it to the meal but would like to make a contribution to the CARE Team’s efforts, you can contact them by calling 515-395-2273.
