–A Livermore woman is facing multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant late last week in Sexton.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s office, Deputies executed a search warrant looking for firearms at a residence in Sexton around 7:45 PM on Thursday, June 19th. A criminal complaint filed in Kossuth County District Court states that during the execution of the warrant, 59-year-old Barbara Ann Halder was inside the residence with the suspect named in the warrant.
Deputies asked Halder for consent to search her purse, at which time she hid items from law enforcement. The complaint goes on to say that Halder became uncooperative, throwing items and biting a Deputy.
Halder was arrested on charges of interference with official acts, a simple misdemeanor, and 2 counts of assault on persons in certain occupations, a serious misdemeanor.
She was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
