–A traffic stop near Titonka Monday night resulted in multiple drug-related charges being filed against a Winnebago County woman.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, the lawful traffic stop was conducted by a Deputy around 8:40 PM Monday near the intersection of County Road P64 and 310th Street, 2 miles southwest of Titonka. The Deputy requested assistance from the department’s K9 unit to conduct a search of the vehicle.
The K9 alerted to the presence of drugs within the vehicle, and while conducting a search, deputies located illegal substances and items known to be drug paraphernalia.
Following the search, Deputies arrested the driver, identified as 43-year-old Staci Marr of Thompson. Marr is facing charges of:
–Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp (Class D Felony)
–Possession of Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of Marijuana—1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of Cannabidiol—1st Offense (Serious Misdemeanor)
–Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
Marr was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
