P.O.W Museum Featured in Minnesota Documentary

–The Camp Algona POW Museum was recently featured in a documentary produced for Pioneer PBS in Minnesota. Museum spokesperson Brian Connick tells KLGA News that one of the people associated with the film project is a fellow teacher and author.

Connick says the filmmakers spent time in Algona and conducted interviews at the museum, some of which you will see in the documentary.

Since it was released in late May, the documentary has received over 179,000 views on YouTube. Connick says they have had an uptick in visitors from Minnesota since it was released.

The documentary, entitled “Held in Minnesota: Untold WWII POW Stories” runs about 57 minutes and is available on the Pioneer PBS YouTube page at the link below:
