–The final Party in the Park for this summer will be held this evening on the Carnegie Library lawn in downtown Algona. Amy Whitacre with the Algona Chamber of Commerce tells KLGA News the theme for this evening’s festivities is “Splash Bash”, so it shouldn’t be tough beat the summer heat.
Whitacre says they’ll have plenty of fun activities for all ages to enjoy this evening.
Members of the Algona Fire Department will also be on hand with some hands-on activities for those in attendance. Whitacre says they wouldn’t be able to host these events each year without support from area residents and businesses.
The “Splash Bash” runs from 6-8 PM on the Carnegie Library lawns, at the intersection of Dodge and Nebraska Streets in downtown Algona.
