–A Minnesota man reported only minor injuries following a rollover accident near Lakota early Tuesday morning.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old James Benson of Blue Earth, Minnesota was traveling southbound on 183rd Avenue in a 2009 Chevy Traverse just after 12 AM Tuesday. The accident report states that Benson failed to negotiate a curve in the road about a mile north of Lakota, making contact with the west ditch.
Benson told Deputies he didn’t see the curve in the roadway, and his vehicle rolled multiple times after entering the ditch. He reported some back pain to EMS personnel at the scene, but he was not transported.
Benson’s vehicle was considered a total loss, with damage estimated to be $10,000.
