–The Kossuth County Conservation Board will host a Hunter Education Field Day later this month and registration is open for anyone interested in participating. Conservation Board Director Kendall Stumme tells KLGA News that the Field Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th.

Hunters can sign up for the online portion of the safety course at www.hunter-ed.com/iowa and complete the work prior to taking part in the field day. Stumme says that hunters only need to take the course once.
