–A traffic stop in Palo Alto County Saturday night ended with a Ruthven man facing additional drug related charges.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Gowrie and Center Streets just after 9 PM Saturday. As a result of the stop, Deputies arrested 48-year-old Todd Lee Brown on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a charge of 3rd Degree Theft.
Brown was also charged with 2 counts of 3rd offense possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
To go along with the new charges, Brown is also being held on warrants out of Clay and Emmet counties.
