–A recently released report from the American Hospital Association shows Kossuth Regional Health Center added $2.1 Million more to the local economy in 2024 than in previous years. Tod Faris serves as the Executive Director of the Kossuth/Palo Alto Economic Development Corporation, and he tells KLGA News that having these facilities is a comfort to businesses that may be looking to expand their operations here or move into the area.
Faris says the numbers show a facility that provides a number of vital services for area residents.
Those services mean KRHC assists the area economy on multiple fronts, not only providing medical care to the workforce, but also by providing high paying jobs to their employees.
Faris says the survey data shows how quality of care and the services provided help drive the local and regional economy.
