–Police in Ohio have made an arrest in connection with the death of a former Kossuth County resident earlier this month.
Police in Ashville, Ohio released a statement on Monday announcing officers had made an arrest in connection with the death of 54-year-old Stacey Garman. Ashville is located about 20 miles south of Columbus in central Ohio.
In the release, Police Chief Bryan Cline states that Garman died following an incident in Ashville back on September 10th. The investigation into that incident eventually resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for James Tackett.
Tackett was taken into custody and booked into the Pickaway County Jail in Circleville, Ohio on a charge of Voluntary Manslaughter.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing. Funeral services for Garman were held Tuesday in Algona.
