–Algona dropped their 3rd straight district game, falling to Sioux Center 21-19 at Bulldog Stadium. Algona fell behind 21-0 in the first half, as the Warriors took advantage of 4 turnovers to build the lead. Algona rallied in the 2nd half, getting within 2 in the final minutes, but a failed 2 pt. conversion provided the winning margin. The Bulldogs will travel to Webster City next week.

Bishop Garrigan 61, Northwood-Kensett 13
–Bishop Garrigan jumped out to a 48-0 halftime lead on their way to a 61-13 win over Northwood-Kensett, improving to 7-0 on the season. The Bears ran for nearly 240 yards on just 21 carries, scoring 6 rushing TD’s. The Golden Bears will play host to West Bend-Mallard next week.
