–A Fenton man is facing was taken into custody early Saturday morning on domestic assault charges stemming from an alleged incident in May.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted a warrant check just after 12AM Saturday and arrested 29-year-old Dylan John Lewis at a residence in Fenton on charges of Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse. Court records show an arrest warrant was issued for Lewis on November 12th as the result of an incident on May 26th.
A criminal complaint filed in Kossuth County District Court alleges that Lewis made sexually explicit comments to a female victim while he was wearing no clothes. The complaint also alleges that Lewis held the victim down and tore her pajama pants in an attempt to remove them.
Lewis was booked into the Kossuth County Jail to await an initial court appearance. He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing in Kossuth County District Court on December 5th.
Court records also show that a no contact order has been issued to prevent Lewis from having any contact with the alleged victim in the case.
