–A traffic stop in Emmetsburg late last week ended with a Palo Alto County woman being taken into custody on drug related charges.
According to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of main street in Emmetsburg just before 8:30 PM last Saturday (November 15th). Following the stop, Deputies learned that the driver, identified as 66-year-old Mary Elise Enderton of Graettinger, had two valid warrants out for her arrest in Dickinson County.
The warrants were for Possession of a Controlled Substance—Methamphetamine (1st offense) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Enderton was arrested and then transferred to the custody of the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Emmetsburg Police Department.
