–The Emmetsburg Main Street Community Theatre will provide free admission to all active military members or veterans for their upcoming performances of “All is Calm”. Theatre spokesperson Peggy Stolley tells KLGA News they wanted to make sure veterans could see the performance that retells the story of the 1914 “Christmas Truce” during WWI.
Area residents and theatre enthusiasts are also being offered the opportunity to help offset some of those costs by sponsoring a seat for a soldier.
Stolley says they can take contributions in a variety of ways, including Venmo.
