–Hospice of the Heartland is inviting area residents to take part in and attend their Lights of Life memorial service and tree lighting ceremony on Sunday, December 7th at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Kathy Dearchs serves as a Social Worker for Hospice of the Heartland, and she tells KLGA News area residents still have time to purchase a light to honor a loved one.
The Lights of Life service is held each year during the holiday season and serves as a way to honor and remember loved ones who recently passed away.
Dearchs says that order forms can be found on their Facebook page.
The deadline to purchase a light is December 1st. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 1 PM at Kossuth Regional Health Center. The tree with all the lights will be on display through the end of the year in the KRHC waiting area.
